MMS leverages decades of actual DOM expertise designed to support aircraft operated under FAA Part 91 rules flying 400 hours or less annually who do not have dedicated maintenance personnel.
Many of our customers prefer the flexibility of in-house flight operations; however, often lack necessary expertise and budget to manage operational aspects, business aspects, and maintenance aspects that comprise a flight department. No, we only support Part 91 operations. One of the reasons some non-charter owners chose to leave other management companies is they do not feel as they get the same level of support as the Part 135 charter aircraft. Other times owners of Part 91 operated aircraft are subjected to the requirements of the management companies Part 135 program which drives decreased flexibility and increased costs.
Initial enrollment includes a full audit and digitalization of aircraft maintenance records as well as a full audit and if needed migration of your maintenance tracking program. The audit is for conformance to regulatory and manufacturer requirements. Any discrepancies identified during this process are documented, a recommended corrective action plan developed, and monitored through completion.
